RESULTS POST THAT REVEALS THE SCORES FROM MATCHES PLAYED AT THE WEEKEND
I was asked to create a post that would present game day results from the weekend, which was similar to what other hockey clubs were doing.
Previously we just posted a hockey action shot and revealed all the results in the caption, however the Club Chair wanted the results to be incorporated into the physical post - a slide for both the Ladies' and the Men's side of the club. Below is the final design I produced.
Although the feedback for this post was positive, I still had to do quite a bit of problem solving.
Previously we mentioned goal scorers and player of the match (for each team) in the caption, in addition to the results.
There was a seperate post for men's and women's results, so it meant the captions weren't that long, however now that the men's and women's results were combined in the same post the caption would be far to long if we were to do this for all 9 teams at the hockey club. I therefore came up with the idea of a weekly stats post which could be posted the day after the results post, as shown below:
